Gabriel R. Ackal, Jr. is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Texas, with his primary focus being Louisiana and Texas mineral and energy law, including drill site and division order title examination. Prior to practicing mineral and energy law, he practiced in the area of insurance defense, focusing on insurance coverage disputes, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, property damage, and general casualty claims. He has also advised and assisted clients on business transactions and contract dispute matters. Before practicing law, Gabe worked as an independent petroleum landman in Louisiana and Texas.
Gabe obtained his B.S. in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University in 2006, and then proceeded to obtain his J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2010.
